Building & Consents

Once the working drawings and all documentation are completed, we are then able to lodge for the building consent. This is a extensive process involving regular contact with the council, all of which is included in our service and will help you avoid common issues related such as, unnecessary delays in your consent journey, miscommunication & unexpected build or title requirements.

We act as your representatives to ensure a smooth consent process, taking care of all ongoing deals with the council as well as ensuring that the plans, details and documentation are fully complient with the building code.

Building Consents

We prepare, lodge and act as your representative through the building consent process. We will advise if your project will require a report from external consultants and assist with any building consent matters on your behalf.

Resource Consents

If resource consent is required, we will prepare the plans and the Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEE). We will lodge and represent you throughout the consent process. We may advise you hire a Town Planner to prepare the AEE, depending on the scope of the consent. Other consultants, such as an arborist may be required depending on the project. We will advise you on this and any other matters.
