The project at Awatea residence showcased an innovative approach to modifying two dwellings in relation to the third, integrating various materials, spatial elements, and natural light seamlessly to create a practical and splendid living space.The beautiful setting overlooking Gulf Harbour provided an opportunity to enhance the view. By replacing the original metal balustrade with transparent glass panels and redesigning the top floor to mirror the waterfront harbor's aesthetic, we were able to create a softer, more transparent architecture that harmonizes with the surrounding environment. During the planning phase, the clients emphasized the importance of convenience, leading us to integrate an indoor lift. We are pleased to have worked with them to craft a modern and efficient home that meets their needs.
